Policies For Portrait Photography at Acclaimed Photography
Booking Your Session:
Acclaimed Photography sets aside studio time or a location session exclusively for you; therefore, the session fee is due at time of booking to reserve your time/date.
Payment methods accepted:
Credit Card (AMEX, Discover, Visa, MasterCard), Checks or Cash
A contract and model release are required for every session. This protects you as the client and me as the photographer.
If you need to reschedule at any time, please contact me right away. Your session fee is non-refundable but I will reschedule once at your request. Please let me know at least 48 hours before the session if you must re-schedule, if possible.
Scheduling Around the Weather:
Since we do live in the Northwest, and our weather can fluctuate, the question comes up about the weather. Many times families want to be photographed outdoors: at a park, the beach, fall foliage, mountains, near the water, etc. During the rainy season we generally need to schedule your session that week, weather depending.
After the Session:
Within 10 days of your photo session we will meet, either at your home or my studio, to review and select the images you wish to order. Ordering appointments last from 1-2 hours; please bring all decision-makers to this appointment.
Payment is due before any products are ordered or delivered. We do offer payment plans where we can charge your credit card up to six equal payments, for your convenience.
Copyright is protected by the Federal Copyright Law. It is unlawful to copy or scan any images without permission of the photographer. In order to control the quality of the work produced, the photographer is the only one who can crop, modify, order any image produced at this photo session. By violating this law, you are devaluing my work as a professional photographer. Acclaimed Photography retains the copyright and ownership of all images of the photo session and reserves the right to reproduce images for portfolio, studio display, gallery display, website, self-promotion, photo contests, etc. Clients are not allowed to reproduce any images produced by the photographer for any purpose without written consent. No other camera equipment other than the photographer’s is allowed in the photo session. Any violation of the copyright law could result with fines of up to $50,000.
